The agrotourism is a type of rural tourism which complements the family economy of the farmers and cowmen by offering lodging and other services as well as leisure activities. In fact, it is the most well-known type of rural tourism because it is carried out within the agricultural family exploitation and it uses the already existing buildings, which have been restored for this unique purpose. Consequently, it is a way of helping farmers to keep doing their traditional activities and, at the same time, to preserving the heritage and landscape.
